Happy Halloween!! We practiced our cutting skills this week, as our preschoolers cut apart 3 letters to make the word BOO out of a pumpkin and then they glued the pieces back together. We sang the Ghost go Flying and did the Five Little Pumpkin rhyme, which I added on the next page, so you can maybe do this with them at home as well. We also read a story about a square pumpkin that Fall is Here! Discovery Time November 1, 2013 Issue 6 saved the day, by closing the hole in the fence where the round pumpkins were rolling through during the storm. common. With further development of imagination, preschoolers commonly

experience nighttime fears and nightmares. In addition, sleepwalking and sleep terrors peak

during preschool years.

Sleeping Tips for Preschoolers Maintain a regular and consistent sleep

schedule. Keep it simple

Have a relaxing bedtime routine that ends in the room where the child sleeps.

Child should sleep in the same sleeping environment every night, in a room that is cool, quiet and dark – and without a TV.
