Once upon a time there was a little girl named Encee Bee. One day Encee was watching the TV and saw a Wendy Doll. Encee really wanted the Wendy Doll, so she asked her mommy, Mommy Bee, if she could buy it for her. Mommy Bee said, “I cannot buy it now but I will help you save towards it.”

Every day, Encee would save a little of her lunch money and put it in her secret hiding place. Three weeks later, Encee checked her secret hiding place and found that she had only saved $1000 so far. Discouraged, she went crying to her Mommy, who simply said, “One, one cocoa full basket.”

When Encee asked her what that meant, MommyBee smiled and said, “Keep saving.” Encee wassad and screamed, “But I want it NOW.”

Three more weeks passed and during that time Encee put every bit of extra money she got in her secret hiding place. She got money from Grandma Bee who visited from England and Daddy Bee gave her ‘a change’ for helping to wash his car. She even saved her Sunday ice cream money!

One day Encee was counting her money andscreamed, “Mi rich, mi rich!.” When she finishedcounting she had saved almost $5000. She ranto her mommy to show her all the savings and Mommy Bee said, “See, I told you, one, one cocoafull basket.”
