Distance Learning Plan Week Beginning: 01.06.20 This week, we will be taking a break from our ‘People who help us’ topic due to changes in circumstances and some of you returning to school. This week will be filled with general activities to help with transition and we will resume ‘People who help us’ next week. Fine Motor Skills Expressive arts and Design Understanding the world

Have a go at making Mrs Rose’s Nutella cookies or another recipe from the Inclusion blog. https://inclusionhva.wordpress.com/family-cooking/ Water exploratory play using a range of equipment from your house, bowls, spoons, baking trays etc. You can also add some food colouring to your water to change the colour!

Create your own musical instrument!

Instructions: Wash and dry your bottle well. Pour in some rice and fasten the bottle tightly (for younger children it could be glued in place). Decorate your bottle you can be as creative as you like.To colour your rice please attached picture.

On your daily exercise can you take some photos of what you can see? Might be a tree or a flower, could be an animal or some friends you pass. Encourage the children to take their own photos. Keep an eye out on Tapestry for what your Teachers see on their walks.

In a container place some of your toys (make sure they are waterproof) fill with water and freeze overnight. You can then explore how to get them out the next day. You could add some food colouring to your water if you wish. You may like to make smaller ice blocks rather than one. Discuss what happens to the water in the freezer and the changes when it comes out.
