1 INTRODUCTION

It is crucial to define and describe the problem of our research in the introduction (the definition is short and concise, but we can take more space for the description), and present the purpose and goals of our research. It is also advisable to state personal motives for choosing a topic; here you can explain why you decided to focus on a certain topic, how you developed the research thought, etc.

The introductory chapter can also present our hypotheses or research questions, research limitations and methods of work. Usually, however, it is the central part of the paper that deals with methodology, research questions, and limitations.

2 CONTENT

In the core part of the paper we describe the selected topic, developing and explaining the findings based on domestic and foreign literature. The core must contain the following three sections: the theoretical part (which the student designs according to the topic of the thesis and structures it into any number of chapters and subchapters), independent research contribution (methodology, critical analysis, confirmation or refutation of hypotheses, etc.) and research results (suggested solution to the problem and recommendations). . The number of chapters and subchapters is arbitrary – but it should be sensibly designed.

2.1 Example figure

According to the Handbook for Writing and Editing Texts, the text of a paper should make reference to any non-textual elements, such as figures and tables. By way of illustration: Figure 1 below shows diploma theses waiting to be handed to graduates of the Faculty of Tourism at the graduation ceremony in the Knight's Hall of the Brežice Castle.

2.2 Example table

Tables should always be mentioned in the text before they actually appear. This can be done as follows: According to the data collected in the survey (as shown in Table 1) that the number of complaints was the highest in week three, and that the number of resolved complaints was increasing every week …

Table 1: No. of complaints per week

Week No. of complaints No. of resolved complaints

One 27 7

Two 24 17

Three 43 22

Total 94 46

2.2.1 Level 3 sub-chapter

If the paper deals with equations, they should be placed in the middle of the page as shown in the example (1) below:

a = 1 (1)

3 CONCLUSION

This is a mandatory part of any final thesis. It should contain the student’s concluding thoughts and a summary of the research findings. The achieved goals should be analysed against the set goals. The student should also outline possible suggestions for further research.
