Achieving the correct gradient for your wetroom floor is essential for efficient drainage, and Impey’s unique and innovative floor former technology makes it easy to install. Floor formers are fitted directly onto joists and then tiled upon to create the complete wetroom solution. With four types of floor former to choose from, including Aqua-Dec EasyFit® and Aqua-Grade, you can achieve a perfect result in any situation.

Aqua-Dec EasyFit® floor formers are the strongest and most rigid on the market. They are able to bear up to 47 stone with no extra support - yet lightweight and portable, which enables installation to be faster. Our floor formers and drains are compatible with mixer and power showers.

Aqua-Dec Linear 2

A two gradient design which has been specifically designed to make installation easier. With only two gradients, there is no need to mitre the tiles. The linear drain is also ideal for use with powerful luxury showers.

Aqua-Dec Linear 3

New to the Aqua-Dec linear range is a three gradient design. The Aqua-Dec Linear 3 can be fitted within 40mm of walls and the three fall design means there is no risk of pooling.

Installation made easierThe drain plate can rotate 360 degrees to avoid all underfloor obstructions. The drain has three locating rings, to provide a superior hold between the dec and the rotating drain plate.

Lighter, yet strongerMade from strong but lightweight material, Aqua-Dec EasyFit® is designed to bear loads of up to 300kg.

EasyFit® floor formers are supplied with the recommended drain in various options for tiled and vinyl floor applications. See page 23 for all drainage options.

The Aqua-Dec EasyFit® is just 22mm thick at the outer edge, which is the same depth as a standard floorboard. All of our drainage, grate and gully products are designed by our own R&D team and manufactured by Impey, specifically for Impey Decs. Our drainage options have a height adjustable stainless steel top, suitable for floor tiles 6mm-26mm deep.

All Aqua-Dec EasyFit® and Aqua-Grade floor formers are supplied as standard with the UTT01/H tiled floor gully with a horizontal outlet (vertical outlets available on request) - a high quality water trap featuring a 50mm water seal and 43mm outlet.

Impey Universal systemThe Impey Universal Trap comprises a set of interchangeable components which are combined to make a range of drain products. The range includes both linear and wet floor drains for use in corresponding Impey floor former systems, as well as standalone linear drains for use in a concrete screeded floor.

The term ‘Universal Trap’ is used in reference to the trap and sump components which are shared across all drain configurations.

The brushed stainless steel top comes with all Aqua-Dec Linear and Aqua-Grade linear floor formers as standard. To change to a tiled insert version, please add to your order at point of purchase. Floor formers also come complete with horizontal outlet (vertical option available on request). Height adjustable frame can be easily adjusted to suit tile depths of between 6-26mm.

You will require a floor foot to support the end of a return or a curved panel. Floor feet are supplied with return panel packs. When used with a curved panel, it will be slightly raised off the floor due to the gradient of the Aqua-Dec. Chrome feet are only available to purchase with a wetroom glass panel.
