At the beginning of the school year our English teacher met us with the fabulous book “Jack and the Beanstalk”. It is an

English fairy tale. During all the terms we were looking for the Reading lessons to

know the new adventures of Jack. The best of all we liked doing the after-reading

activities because they were so exciting and creative. But sometime the tasks were confused and we had to looked through the

story again.

We were interested in it from the first pages where we’ve met the main

characters: Jack Trott, Mrs Trott, Giant and Giantess. Every part of the story

had the clear title and the picturesque illustrations that could help us to

understand the general idea of it. So we did the activities successfully and had

fun by reading the story.

We’d like to recommend the book to everyone who wants not only to improve your English but to have a lot of fun. At the end of the Reading

book you’ll find the words of the play which you can act out after reading. As for us we have

already done it and we had a lot of fun with our English teacher. Especially we recommended the book our students of the 4th grade. In our opinion they were interested in it very much.

We’d like to read “Alice’s adventures in Wonderland”. And we know that this book

we should read on the lessons next year. We’ll be in the 6th

form. It’ll be exciting.
