Corporate Challenge is a four-day event promoting health and wellness in the workplace in a fun, team-oriented and supportive series of inclusive sport challenges. The event will be centered on MacDonald Island Park at the Suncor Community Leisure Centre and will take place September 27-30, 2012.

Corporate Challenge brings the spirit of the Olympics to a local and more intimate playing field. We offer eight different team events and many social networking opportunities throughout the four days of competition.

Corporate Challenge is a healthy way for local companies and their employees to stay active in the community while adding a social component for those that want to cheer on their colleagues. In a busy work-oriented community like Wood Buffalo, employees need the opportunity for unity, togetherness, and camaraderie. Corporate Challenge

Some of today’s most successful companies understand the real business benefits of being involved in corporate health and wellness activities. Well-structured events are an excellent way to encourage initiative, reward the commitment of staff, improve morale, inspire cooperation and team spirit, and motivate staff to take a positive outlook on health in the workplace.

Now more than ever, Wood Buffalo businesses, our working staff, and our families need healthy activities to share. We need to be reminded of health and wellness in all areas of life including the workplace.
