Halley Karnowski and Brooklynn Karnowski, 1 ½, ride in the Bancroft Good Old Days Parade down Main Street. Halley and Brooklynn were advertising as part of the Pop-A-Top Bar & Grill in Bancroft. Hancock Lions Barrel Train driven by Lions member Paul Miller takes children of all ages for a ride down Main Street during the Bancroft Good Old Days Parade. Miller provided free barrel train rides at the Bancroft Lions Park throughout the afternoon following the parade. Members from the American Legion Post Yonke-Christianson Post 533 presented the colors during the Bancroft Good Old Days parade on Aug. 9. Bancroft Lions President Curt Morter throws candy to the crowd with his niece, McKaylie Morter, Wisconsin Rapids, from the Bancroft Lions Float to help kick off the annual Bancroft Lions Good Old Days Parade. Grilling the baked potatoes and chicken for the annual chicken barbeque were Bancroft Lions volunteers Eric Beggs and Randy Wierzba. Almond-Bancroft High School Marching Band plays Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” while marching in the Bancroft Good Old Days Parade on Main Street in downtown Bancroft. Finn Phillips, 2, Parker Phillips, 7, Gram Beggs, 11 months, and Myla Beggs, 8 months, Plainfield, wait patiently for the parade to begin. Dennis Sikorski, Bancroft, with granddaughter Audrina, 4 ½, enjoy spending time together while attending the annual Bancroft Good Old Days celebration held Aug. 9.
