UW Extension Waukesha County 4-HDo you have six hours that you could give of your time to make a lasting impact on the youth in Waukesha County? NEW to Waukesha County and Wisconsin! A 4-H SPIN Club is where five or more young people learn about a topic of interest. Topics vary and can include interests such as nature, science, sailing, outdoor adventures and much more. Retzer Nature Center also offers amazing opportunities in natural science for other SPIN Club topics. We are looking for adults that have a talent or interest that they are willing to teach to young people in local communities. SPIN clubs are planned around the adult volunteer’s availability. Each club meets six or more times for at least one hour per session. A 4-H SPIN club continues the learning through interactive sessions that focus on a special interest. Youth involved in UW-Extension 4-H programs learn leadership and life skills that help prepare them to be our future community environmental advocates and leaders. 4-H is open to youth ages 5 to 18 years of age.
