DescriptionSeries AS Air Scoop (Air Separator) is designed forefficient separation of air from water in HydronicHeating Systems. Watts air scoops have heavy castiron construction. They have tappings for theinstallation of an expansion tank and air vent.Entrapped air in the hot water heating system pipingis dispersed by the internal agitator of the air scoopas the water is recirculated within the heating sys-tem piping. This provides quiet efficient operationof the hot water heating system radiation.

Features■ New! AS-T Model includes 1⁄2" tappings on

each side for fill valve piping.

■ Heavy cast iron construction.

■ Sizes 1", 11⁄4" 11⁄2", 2", 21⁄2", 3" NPT.

■ Standardly furnished with tappings for expansion tank and air vent.

■ Provides complete, continuous purging andventing of air in the system when installed in conjunction with the Watts “FV4M1” or Duo Vent float vents.
