woman, were:
The Carrying Water
to bring the water to the home, once the domestic needs of the whole family, from
hygiene to nutrition and physical cleaning of the house
for washing clothes in the river,
on the banks of lakes, canals,
on the sea shore and,
in cases already more advanced,
at the tanks of common use.
