Reasons for Upgrades The County regularly inspects the collection system to determine the assets condition. There are many factors that determine if an asset needs to be replaced such as: • Age • Number of repairs • Amount of corrosion • Updated regulations and/or standards
Arundel on the Bay IV SPS FM Replacement
• Installed approximately 950 LF of new 4” Dia. HDPE FM along Fishing Creek Road and Harbor Road.
• Road and yard restoration is complete. • Contract is in performance phase.
Current Forcemain Work
The existing sewer pump stations are over 40 years old and the proposed upgrades will, • Bring the pump stations up to current County
standards, • Ensure reliability of service during power outages, • And reduce stormwater intrusion. The County is working to minimize disruption to the community while this work is in progress.
