Implemented Projects – Singapore Public Utilities BoardSingapore's Public Utilities Board contracted UGL to upgrade and modify their existing water treatment plant to meet the needs of the growing demands of fresh water delivery.

UGL developed a solution that only took 15 short months to fully implement and included increasing the capacity of their water treatment plant. The plant can process up to 476,900 cubic meters of water per day which doubled the current demand of 272,520 cubic meters.

Implemented Projects – Securing Sydney's Water SupplyThe Sydney Water Corporation contracted UGL to commence on a large scale water recycling project to secure the water supply around the Sydney Area.

UGL constructed large pipelines to transfer tertiary treated, recycled water between 3 water plants. It results in 50 mega-liters of recycled water for discharge to the Hawkesbury-Nepean River downstream of Penrith Weir.

Implemented Projects – Improving Melbourne's Water CapacityThe Melbourne Water Corporation needed to produce additional water to meet the demands of the Melbourne water network and chose UGL to provide a solution.

UGL commissioned a new 70 mega-liter water treatment plant that provides for an additional 15 giga-liters of water per year. The project consisted of the construction of the Tarago Water Treatment Plant that increased the annual supply of water and gives Melbourne a long-term water solution.

Implemented Projects – Thailand's Need For Water Cooling PlantAlstom in Bangkok, Thailand needed a consistent and reliable source for a water cooling tower to keep their gas-fired power plant in operational order.

UGL delivered three key elements to meet the needs of Alstom which includes a pre-treatment plant, a demineralization plant and a wastewater plant that all work together to provide the Kaeng Khoi 2 Power Plant with sufficient water cooling.
