PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTSHazards to Humans & Domestic AnimalsCAUTION: Harmful if absorbed through the skin or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin,eyes or clothing. Wear long-sleeved shirt and long pants, socks and shoes and water-resistant gloves. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergicreactions in some individuals. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Applicators and other handlers must wear:• Long-Sleeved shirt and long pants• Water-resistant gloves• Shoes plus socks

Follow manufacturer's instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructionsfor washables exist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately fromother laundry.

Engineering Controls: When handlers use closed systems, enclosed cabs, or aircraft in amanner that meets the requirements listed in the Worker Protection Standards (WPS) foragricultural pesticides [40 CFR 170.240(d)(4-6)], the handler PPE requirements may bereduced or modified as specified in the WPS.

User Safety RecommendationsUsers should:

• Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using thetoilet.

• Remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughlyand put on clean clothing.

• Remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of glovesbefore removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into cleanclothing.

Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, eitherdirectly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area duringapplication.

Environmental Hazards: This product is toxic to fish. To protect the environment, donot allow pesticide to enter or run off into storm drains, drainage ditches, gutters orsurface waters. Applying this product in calm weather when rain is not predicted for thenext 24 hours will help to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash oejiic'.de off thetreatment area. Sweeping any product that lands on a driveway, sidewalk, or street, backonto the treated area of the lawn or garden will help to prevent run off to water bodied ordrainage systems.

WHY AMDRO INSECT KILLER GRANULES IS SO EFFECTIVE:1. AMDRO Insect Killer Granules is highly attractive to many insect species, including

roaches (German, American, Oriental, Smoky Brown), Ants (acrobat ants, Argentine ants,bigheaded ants, carpenter ants, cornfield ants, crazy ants, field ants, fire ants, ghost ants,harvester ants, odorous house ants, pavement ants, Pharaoh ants, thief ants and the Texasleafcutting ant), crickets and firebrats.

2. AMDRO Insect Killer Granules are carried directly into the ant mound by workersants as food for the colony. Inside the mound, AMDRO Insect Killer Granules ispassed to the queen, as well as to other ants. By the end or one to four weeks, thequeen and most of the ants in the mound will have eaten this product and died.

3. When the queen is dead, no new worker ants can be produced, so the mound dies.4. Ants think that Amdro is food. They carry it into the colony and share it with other ants

and the queen. When the queen dies, the colony dies.

This formula contains a special blend of foods, combined with the delayed-actionstomach poison, hydramethylnon. The delayed action of the active ingredient allowsforaging ants to bring the bait back to the nest so that the entire colony, including thequeen, is destroyed. When properly used, this bait will control many of the followinginsects, including ants, cockroaches, crickets and firebrats before they can enter astructure. Do not apply other insecticides (such as aerosols, sprays, etc) on top of or inclose proximity to this product, as it will reduce the effectiveness. You should see(expect to see) fewer ants (insects - or - roaches - crickets) within a week.

DIRECTIONS FOR USEIt is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with itslabeling.

The use of this product on pasture and rangeland is unlawful. DO NOT graze or feedlawn or sod chippings to livestock.

This product is not for use on crops, timber, plants or turf grown for sale or othercommercial use, or for commercial seed production or for research purposes. Do not useAMDRO Insect Killer Granules on vegetable or other food crops. This product will retainits effectiveness for up to 3 months after the package has been opened.

OUTDOOR USEAROUND STRUCTURES: This product may be sprinkled around structures. Sprinkleevenly in a 1-2 foot wide band adjacent to the structure at a rate of 0.5 oz. (onetablespoon) of bait per 25 linear feet. A typical application would be 4-8 oz. adjacent toan average sized home of 200-400 linear feet. Do not exceed 4-8 oz. per 200-400 linearfeet (or 0.5 oz. per 25 linear feet). Be sure to treat areas such as porches, patios,driveways, sidewalks, flower gardens, and landscape timbers and around trees,woodpiles, air conditioning units and garbage receptacles. INDOOR USEAVOID CONTATMINATION OF FOOD, FOOD CONTACT SURFACES ANDFEEDSTUFFS. Indoor applications are limited to areas that are inaccessible to childrenor pets, such as cracks, crevices, wall voids, unfinished attics, crawl spaces and behindelectrical switch plates, within residential and non-residential buildings or structures andwithin non-food/non-feed areas of industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings asoutlined below.

Apply up to 0.5 oz. (one tablespoon) of bait per crack, crevice or other inaccessible areaswhere insects may hide of live. Apply product using suitable application equipment.Recover [Clean up] [Wipe up] any loose or excess granules. Apply evenly in unfinishedattics and crawl spaces at a rate of 0.5 oz. per 100 square feet only if the space is securedor otherwise inaccessible to children and domestic animals.

STORAGE & DISPOSALPesticide Storage: Store product in original container in a locked storage area. Use within 3

months after opening.Pesticide Disposal: If partially filled— Call your local solid waste agency for disposal

instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.Container Disposal: If empty — Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container.
