Dominican Republic as well as wrapping up the school year for Lizz and thegirls. We continue to give thanks to God for each of you.

Dominican ForoThe partners and supporters of the Dominican Republicmission as well as our missionaries and local churchleaders gathered together in March to plan and discussthe future of the mission and churches in the D.R. Wecontinue to give thanks for all the wonderful people andgroups God has brought together to work in thecommunities here. The group took a break from theirmeetings one afternoon and we toured the local muralshere in Santiago. If you visit us, we would love to takeyou here.

Cultural Highlight: Palm Sunday

It is tradition in the Dominican Republic for congregations to process aroundthe neighborhood with palms on Palm Sunday. Because palms are soprevalent here it is also customary to bring your own palms with you tochurch. We saw many Dominicans on their way to church carrying palmbranches.
