    LIMITED WARRANTY

    LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE

    HANNSPREE, INC. , (the "Warrantor") warrants to the original owner of the Hannspree

    product that it will repair or replace, the defective product or parts thereof due to defects inmaterials and workmanship ( other than those parts excluded below ) for a period of two

    year on - site pickup and delivery warranty for 23" TV and below, and three (3) year on -

    site repair warranty for 26" TV and above from the date of the original purchase of the

    product as follows:

    During the period of this limited warranty, both labor, and parts (other than those excluded

    below) will be covered. The decision to repair or replace a product or component during the

    warranty period will be made solely by the Warrantor.

    The warranty period starts from the date of the original purchase. The original of thepurchase receipt or other proof of purchase must be provided to claim the warranty services.

    Customer will be charged a service fee for the services rendered if such documentation is

    not available.

    Any replaced or repaired product or component is covered by this limited warranty for a

    period of thirty (30) days from shipment, or through the end of the original warranty period,

    whichever is longer. All parts replaced within the warranty period belong to the Warrantor.

    This limited warranty ONLY COVERS failures due to defects in materials or workmanship.

    The Warrantor will provide services during normal business hours and under reasonably

    safe conditions and circumstances only.

    For services at outlying islands, a traveling fee will be levied and, if workshop service is

    needed, the customer is responsible for the transportation of the product to and from the

    Warrantors Customer Service Center.

    All the rights under this limited warranty is not transferable.

    This limited warranty is exclusively applicable in Australia or New Zealand.

    EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

    Accessories are covered for thirty (30) days from the date of the original purchase of the

    product. Accessories include cables, power adapters, and the remote control.

    This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER consumables, such as batteries. All other parts

    are covered by this warranty.

    This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage;failures caused by products not supplied by the Warrantor; failures that result from

    accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration, faulty or improper installation,

    operation and maintenance, or use in violation of instructions furnished by the manufacturer,

    setup adjustments, power surges, modification, or commercial use, rental use of the product,service by anyone other than the Warrantor; or damage that is attributable to acts of God,

    such as flood, storm or lightning.

    The above warranties do not extend to units of which the serial numbers have been

    removed, altered, defaced, or rendered illegible.

    NEITHER THIS WARRANTY NOR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,

    INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR

    FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE SHALL EXTEND BEYOND THE WARRANTY PERIOD.

    TO THE UTMOST EXTENT PERMITTED BY THE APPLICABLE LAWS, HANNSPREE INC. IS

    NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL

    DAMAGES OR LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF PROFITS OR LOSS OF DATA RESULTING

    FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT.

    1. Our Customer Service Center will provide you with instructions on the product return

    and repair process. Services covered by the warranty as described in the Limited

    Warranty Coverage will be provided at no cost to the customer. Other services as

    defined in this manual will be performed at the customers expense.

    IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL BOX AND PACKAGING

    MATERIALS FOR CONVENIENCE IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT YOU REQUIRE SERVICES.

    INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

    Customers who take the product outside of country of purchase, i.e. Australia or New

    Zealand, are covered by this limited warranty but are responsible for paying all freight and

    charges incurred in shipping, importing and exporting the product to and from the

    Warrantors Customer Service Center, including all customs duties, value added taxes, and

    other associated taxes and charges.

    Q: My product was damaged during installation. What can I do?A: The limited warranty does not cover damages to the product from faulty or improper

    installation or mishandling. However, please contact our Customer Service Center. OurCustomer Service Agents will be very happy to help you in determining whether therequired repairs are covered by the limited warranty and in obtaining the necessaryrepairs.

    Q: My product may need repairs. Where can I take it?

    A: Please contact our Customer Service Center. Our Customer Service Agents will help

    you conduct simple troubleshooting and fix minor problems. If your product needs repair,

    we will arrange service for you. If the repair is not covered under warranty, we will

    Troubleshooting

    Q: Nothing happens when I attempt to turn the television on. What should I do?

    A: Ensure the power cord is inserted securely in the televisions power socket. If you are

    powering from the remote please ensure that the batteries in the remote control areproperly charged.

    Q: There is no image on screen after the power is turned on. What should I do?

    A: Check if the source cables are properly connected. Refer to Getting Started section ofyour television users manual for how to connect a device to your television.

    Q: There is an image on the screen but no sound after the power is turned on. What should

    I do?A: Ensure that you have not accidentally pressed the mute button and that the volume is at

    a sufficient level. Make sure the audio cable is connected securely.

    Q: The picture quality is poor and there is ghosting or static. What should I do?

    A: Make sure the cable is tightly secured at both the wall outlet and the unit to preventpicture noise caused by a weak signal. Picture noise may also result from externalinterference (e.g. passing motor vehicles, high frequency machines, fluorescent lighting,hair dryers, etc.). You may need to move the location of your signal cable or antenna

    away from possible sources of interference.

    Q: The picture is blurry, too bright (or dark), the images are overlapping or volume isunbalanced. What should I do?

    A: Using the remote control or the front panel to access the On-Screen Display (OSD)menu system, enter the MAIN MENU and adjust the appropriate settings.

    Q: The remote control does not function properly. What should I do?

    A: Ensure that the batteries in the remote control are new, installed correctly, and replaceas needed.
