Class Notes 1. Horses/ponies/minis may compete in any class

2. A pony/horse & rider pair that are jumping can only compete in classes in 2 consecutive height divisions. A pony/horse & rider pair that is not jumping can compete in unlimited number of divisions.

3. Warm-up classes may be entered once per division and are un-judged. Separate class entry fee charged for each warmup ridden.

4. Cross entry is allowed in all non-trotting classes.

5. Judge may use open card for hunter over fences classes within a division

6. Horse handlers and side walkers permitted in all adaptive riding classes

7. Dressage suitability classes require dressage or hunt seat tack and attire

General Rules 8. Exhibitors must be 18 & under as of Jan 1st to compete

9. 4-H membership not required to compete

10. All riders must wear an ASTM/SEI approved helmet when mounted – No Exceptions.

11. Ponies measured for pony divisions if no pony card. Pony height is 14.2 hands and under.

12. Classes run simultaneously in multiple arenas. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to be aware of where and when their class is being held.

13. Negative Coggins required. Fines for Coggins violations are responsibility of exhibitor/guardian.

14. No lunging in the schooling or class rings starting 30 minutes before show starts.

15. Adults are prohibited from riding a horse unless it has become dangerous for the youth to do so. An adult riding a horse must be cleared with the show office before the adult mounts the horse. Failure to do this will result in the disqualification of the horse.

16. Scooters, motorcycles, bicycles, mopeds, skateboards, roller blades, and roller skates may not be used or operated on the show grounds. Only licensed drivers may operate golf carts or other motorized vehicles.

17. The decision of the judge is final. Any act of discourtesy to the judge or other show personnel will not be tolerated.

18. Show management reserves the right to (a) combine, split or cancel classes and (b) disqualify from showing any horse or pony that is unmanageable and dangerous or any youth who exhibits unsportsmanlike or inappropriate behavior.

19. Following rules apply: Hunt seat – USEF; Dressage – USDF; Western – AQHA; Non-Trotting – NWHA &

20. Class points based on number of riders that enter the ring. Under no circumstances will a disqualified exhibitor receive points; however each horse brought into the ring is counted as an entry towards number in the class.
