About a New Song at the Contemporary ServiceEaster Sunday we began learning a new song, "The Anthem" which celebrates the victorious resurrection ofJesus Christ. Many of the songs we learn are from the major contemporary Christian artists of today-ChrisTomlin, Casting Crowns, Matt Redman, etc. This song is from a group called Planetshakers, which is not aswell known. Like Hillsong, Planetshakers is based in Australia. Planetshakers is the band from PlanetshakersCommunity Church, an Assemblies of God Church in Melbourne. The church meets weekly but is also wellknown for its annual conferences held in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, and for the first time inJanuary 2013, in San Diego California. Watch for the increasing popularity of this group. Many of their songs, including "The Anthem" can be viewed on YouTube.
