JUSTINA FENTON AND KEITH RUSSELLSHORTNIN BREAD BAKERY

SBDC CLIENT SINCE 2011

The transition from selling gourmet baked goods at farmers markets and events to opening a retail location presented some hurdles for Justina Fenton and Keith Russell. Fortunately, the Small Business Development Center was there to help. FREE advice from the SBDC’s expert Business Advisors helped the owners of Shortnin Bread Bakery create a business and marketing plan, launch a website, develop financial projections and open for business. “The SBDC has really helped me feel that I’m on the right path,” says Fenton. With six-figure sales projected for 2012, Shortnin Bread Bakery is on a roll.
