Is God not bigger than this problem? The truth is that no accident, no experience, no politician, no president, no nation, no army, no hater, no grumpy person, no building, no argument, no difficulty, no grudge, no trial, no illness, and no addiction is bigger than our God! There is no God like our God and no God as large and vast as ours. And our large God says, “For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” (Colossians 3:3) If you gain the whole world and don’t find God in your own soul, what have you got? These cross book markers are hand crocheted by a local senior lady. She is selling them for $5.00 each. She is donating a portion of the sales towards items for the new kitchen. She has an array of colors available. These beautiful crosses would make a great Mother’s Day gift. You may contact Cathy Hoke at 785-204-2758 if you are interested. I will be staying after church on Sunday, April 17th with many colors to choose from if you would like to purchase one. A NOTE FROM BRETT…

Hey everyone! Hope you’re having a good week so far, I’ve only got a few announcements for everyone this week. Their will be NO ROOTS programing on April 20th, and that’s about it! I do however want to say a quick devotional thought that God hit me with in the middle of second service this past Sunday. We had just got done singing, “I’ll Fly Away” and were about to take communion and even though on most Sunday mornings people seem happy and energetic, but this Sunday it seemed more tangible than most others. It was at the point in time when our wonderful Elders were passing around the emblems that a thought hit me like a bolt of lightning and it was, “this is weird and I love it” How strange would it be for a complete outsider to come into a building with happy, energetic people (on a Sunday morning no less) celebrating the fact we will die, and worshipping a man that died himself, but raised to life. This meeting to an outsider would be astonishingly out-of-place, but to us this is the closest thing to home that we will get on this earth. So lets stay weird everybody, because normal isn’t working! Love you guys and thank you for all that you do! -Brett

Some glad morning when this life is o'er, i'll fly away. To that home on God's celestial shore, i'll fly away. I'll fly away, oh glory, i'll fly away. When I die, Hallelujah, by and by, i'll fly away. Just a few more weary days and then, i'll fly away. To that land where joy will never end, i'll fly away. I'll fly away, oh glory, i'll fly away. When I die, Hallelujah, by and by, i'll fly away. Oh i'll fly away, oh glory, i'll fly away in the morning When I die, Hallelujah, by and by, i'll fly away. Songwriters Gary Davis
