I want to thank John and Nancy Carvalho for the Tiffany Ford tour toHollister. Nancy was unable to attend, but I’m sure she was involved in planningthis event. Substitute wife, Ron, filled in for her.

We did vote to donate the club truck to the MAFFI Model A museum inHickory Corners, Michigan, by a margin of one vote. We will proceed with thisprocess by having Stan Braden present a letter to the MAFFI board stating that weare considering donating the truck. There are still several steps that need to beaccomplished before the actual donation is made.

The evening at English Oaks and the lunch at Standiford Place were veryenjoyable and meaningful for the residents. Thank you Ron Crum and JoAnnBledsoe.

The September General meeting will be a pizza and green salad dinner. Asign-up was done at the August meeting. If you were unable to attend in Augustor your plans have changed, please call Dianne or I at 527-7916 by September5th. We need an accurate count so that we have enough food for everyone.

See you soon and keep those Model As rolling.

Jim

Era Fashion News ….From Teresa Gissible

Hard to believe its September already. I’m sure you are tired of hearing about the National’s. There wasone seminar that I really enjoyed watching this lady at work “Creating an Era Image Hat”. Horse Hair!

This seminar was presented by Sandy Wilson. She is a Model A’er and she owns Allyns Fabric, Bridal &Millinery Supplies, 2306 E. 6th Ave., Denver, C0 80206. Phone #303-377-4969. www.allynsfabric.com .

She had an amazing collection of hats styles, colors and accessories, all looking like era horse hair clochesor wide brim styles, as well as flowers, ribbons and netting. She does have a web site, however, her inventory isnot listed, because it’s huge. I’ll bring the hat styles I purchased to the meeting to share with all of you.

Once again another opportunity for a seminar. Let me know who's interested.
