This increase in sales is attributed to growing trust in the brand and recent successful launch of the New Vento, which continues to raise the bar by offering the best in safety, build quality and driving dynamics. The Volkswagen Polo, the only hatchback in its segment that comes with a 4-star NCAP safety rating for adult occupants, also continues to contribute to Volkswagen’s increase in sales. Ltd. said, With the advent of the third quarter, and the encouraging customer response for the recently launched New Vento, we are happy to announce that our sales have gone up by 18% in July 2015, on a year-on-year basis. Volkswagen sales up 18% in July 2015

- At 4,029 units, Volkswagen India’s sales in July 2015 are up 18% vis-à-vis July 2014

Mumbai, August 01, 2015: Volkswagen, Europe’s leading carmaker sold 4,029 units in July 2015 as compared to 3,409 units sold in the corresponding month the previous year, marking an increase of 18% in overall monthly sales.

This increase in sales is attributed to growing trust in the brand and recent

successful launch of the New Vento, which continues to raise the bar by

offering the best in safety, build quality and driving dynamics. The Volkswagen
