IntroductionThankyoufor purchasingthe Korg volca beats .The volca beats is a rhythm sequencer with an analog sound source at the core. It achievesthe classic tone essential to dance music with a thick sound that´s distinctive of analoghardware. By further incorporating four lo- PCMs to control the playback speed, it canexpress the coarse graininess that transcends its intrinsic digital concept. The sequencer isconstructed so that it emphasizes the spontaneity of adding and removing parts as well aspa ern editing. Battery level indicationWhen the volca beats is turned on, the LEDs below the step bu ons indicate theremainingamountof ba erypower.IfallLEDsare lit,theba eriesare completelyfull.FewerlitLEDsmeanthat theba erylevelis correspondinglylower.

If an AC adapter is connected, the remaining ba ery level will not beindicated correctly.

Either alkaline or nickel-metal hydride ba eries can be used. In order for the remaining ba ery level to be detected and indicated correctly, the t ype of ba eries being used must bespecied in the global parameters of thevolca beats . If the ba eries are running low duringusage of thevolca beats , it warns you by blinking “bt.Lo” in t he display. If the ba eries rundowncompletely, thevolca beats automaticallyturns off.NOTE : Itʹs not possible to stop the low ba ery warning; however, you will be able tocontinueusing the volca beats untilthe ba eries haverun downcompletely.
