Schoology: End-of-Year Suggestions and Summer Access for Content Development
Until the PowerSchool sections for S1 are unlocked the week before school starts, your PowerSchool-created Schoology courses will not be accessible. You can however quickly make generic courses in Schoology that can be used to create assignments, quizzes and other resources. Once your PowerSchool-created sections are active, you can easily import your work into them. Please check out the video above to see how that can be done.
Linked Sections: with our enterprise edition of Schoology we have a nice feature called Linked Sections. For next school year you may be interested in linking your courses together. If you teach multiple sections of the same course and grade level, then this feature will allow you to create materials and setup the gradebook once and it copies automatically to the linked courses for the entire school year. You can switch between each section instantly. Take a look at the step by step guide – click here

Askie the Techie Dear Askie the Techie,
How does the Surface Pro
get updated?
– Finding Refresh
Dear Finding Refresh,
The Surface Pro and all devices get
updated 24/7. Meaning you don’t have to
sign out and leave it overnight once a week
for it to get the updates anymore.
Whenever the device is connected to the
District Internet it will receive updates
now. This includes all Windows 7 and 8.1
devices. Windows 10 updates will be pushed
out starting soon the very same way.
