How healthy are your most important assets?

Your employees are your greatest assets. They also reflect your business’s greatest expense in the form of salaries and benefits. You can protect that asset – and reduce expenses – by investing in employee health and wellness initiatives. One of the largest benefit costs absorbed by companies and organizations is healthcare.

Lifestyle factors, including smoking, poor nutrition habits, and physical inactivity increase the burden of chronic disease. Poor lifestyle choices lead to costly medical intervention to treat what are often avoidable illnesses.

The best way to reduce healthcare costs is to improve the health of your employees – and long-term lifestyle changes are key to making that happen.

KID FIT

Premiere Fitness, along with ACMC Pediatrician, Jude Cauwenbergh, DO, developed Kid Fit to help combat childhood obesity in our community. Dr. Cauwenbergh is certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Medicine, is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Osteopathic Association of Sports Medicine, and the Ohio Osteopathic Association. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO.

Our goal with Kid Fit is to provide a fun and safe program that kids will not only enjoy, but will also benefit from and see real results.

Our program is designed to help give children confidence in their physical abilities, increase their motor skills, and give them a head start on understanding the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.

Kit Fit is an hour-long class that incorporates exercise and nutrition in a safe, fun and non-intimidating format. The class is designed for kids six to 13 years of age. It is offered three times each week, with some classes taking place outside when the weather permits.
