Materials and standards

Aluminium profile: EN AW 6060 - BS EN 573-3.Plexichoc glazing: transparent organic UV- blocking glazing material with good shock resistance ISO 7032-2.Security glass: tempered glass BS EN 12150-1.Aluminium posts: EN AW 6106, EN AW 6060 and EN AW 6063 - EN 755-2, providing high mechanical strength.

Surface treatment

Anodising: an electro-chemical treatment resulting in a 15 µ thick protective surface coating of aluminium oxide.

Paint

Wet paint: liquid polyurethane paint, pistol sprayed on a stripping compound base layer to 30 µ, oven-baked at 80 - 100° C. Powder coating: polyester powder, applied by spraying to 60 µ, oven-baked at 160 - 180°C.

RAL: numbered colour chart created by RAL (a German organisation). We offer the colours most widely used for poster display cases. RAL colours cannot be reproduced in print exactly. Please use a RAL colour code register to make your choice.

Electrical compliance

Illuminated poster display cases and light boxes comply with European directive CE/73/23 and BS EN 60-598.

Packaging

Packaging is of high quality to ensure that you receive goods in perfect condition. The packaging used is specific to the nature of the product – cardboard boxes, banding on pallets, cloth sheathes, cardboard tubing etc.

Poster case sizes

Dimensions are expressed in millimetres. Also quoted is the size of the sheet which the poster case can comfortably display.

Should there be damage or vandalism, doors are easily replaceable without the need for tools and without removing the poster display.

Reversible door (right-opening on delivery, can be easily changed to left-opening without the need for tools).

Illuminated poster display cases and light boxesThe electrical wiring must be installed by a qualified person to comply with applicable safety regulations. The cable exit is not predefined in order that the installer may choose the most suitable position.

All VITINCOM® poster display cases (except “Allure” poster cases with felt back or cork back), both indoor & outdoor, can benefit from an LED lighting kit (optional) adapted to their size and easy to install.

LED lighting kits make the reading of documents inside notice boards easier in dark places or at night. They are particularly energy efficient and benefit from an exceptionally long life expectancy.

LED kits are not intended for advertising lighting: to light up large scale advertising posters, the use of a light box is recommended.

Electrical components in light boxes are factory fitted and comply with European directive CE/73/23 and BS EN 60-598.

A fully decorated 750 x 750 mm notice board to hold 6 x A4.

The wall mounted version is in 2 mm steel sheet, painted RAL 6018 green and RAL 8004 copper brown.

The post mounted version is in thick HDO polywood, onto which a standard “Tradition” notice-board is mounted, the back of the tree is also painted. Installed on a 93 x 93 mm wooden post with a galvanised base socket plate.

Simplicity without the loss of efficiency. A simple PVC frame in red, yellow, green or white. The original shape of the frame allows for a choice of orientation for your notice, inclining both upwards or downwards. For ease of use and for high quality display, two sheets of 4 mm plexichoc are used to “sandwich” your documents which then simply slide into the frame. Available in A4 and A3 sizes.

Adapted for frequent changes of information. Easy to open by pivoting the sprung aluminium sections. Aluminium frame 10 mm in thickness with a clear 1 mm protective sheet. Finish: silver anodised. Available in A4 and A3 sizes.
