DESCRIPTION
Virtual reality (VR) in education is a markedly present subject in research institutions in many countries. This paper will discuss the application of VR techniques, including the use of computer graphics and three-dimensional (3D) video production. Stereoscopy is a key point for the visualization of these applications. The system developed uses a 3D lens, a home camera, common video edition software, two low cost projectors, light polarized filters and cheap 3D eyeglasses. During the 3D video production, the aim was to evaluate all the involved process, since the elaboration of scripts, video capture and projection until the costs to build the system. This is important to demonstrate for educational institutions the advantages in adopting resources of VR for the improvement of learning.Artigo completo em: http://periodicos.ifsc.edu.br/index.php/rtc/article/view/108TRANSCRIPT

• 2 most utilized technologies – eletronic whiteboard (white board constructs
on a sensitive surface, on that maybe or not to be projected a screen of a computer, that captures a eletronic pen motion)
– Ultra-sonic device (fixed on a common white board transform it in a eletronic whiteboard) [Tori 2003].

Virtual Reality in EducationCONCLUSION
– The dissemination of RV is on a former moment associated to fall of equipments costs , that ocurrs year by year. Win the costs barrier, there are the cultural barrier, feeded by lacking of application and specific knowledge.
– The use of RV na Education is affected in same way. The equipments cost fall and alternative solutions like the 3D projection with polarized light mast be help and disseminate the RV at minor education institutions.
Virtual Reality in EducationCONCLUSION
“There are not presential and distance learning conflicts, but there are a traditional teaching that refuses to incorporate new technologies and a flexible education that sums Information and Comunication Technologies (ICT) to add value for teachers and students”
