Virtual Reality Combat Simulation, the new Soccer.

2-1024 (possibly more than 1024) combatants going head to head in all out combat with simulated contemporary weapons, assault riffles. Based on a

Patent held by Alexander Beck

MRDSSOn watch dog timer sensors orient themselves relative to each other. RPDSS subsystem triangulates positions of body sensors and sends data packets to PSX via controller ports.

Trigger pulls will indicate simulation of bullet traveling at velocity V and will be checked every frame to see if coordinates would have intersected with other players during its trajectory over that frame.

Hits are correlate and penalties to health computed based on what part of the body is hit. If a player dies a speaker on his suit plays a certain death alarm and yellow LEDs flash to visually indicate he is no longer a target.

Game players can use TV display of PSX and normal controller to access RPDSS software and choose game play mode. Users will also be able to tweak every variable possible and save custom configurations on their memory card.

Build replica guns of all kinds and put sensors at tip and back of barrel. Realistic guns will come with multiple clips and require user to exchange clips when virtual bullets are spent. Detachable grenade launchers will be sold with appropriate riffles, and scopes will be a necessity for outdoor field/forest/urban play. Real bullet variations will of course be accounted for.

We will design different standardized arena configurations, and sell ready to make structures and objects. Structures which are painted white will be bullet transparent, structures painted black are bullet opaque, gray structures are somewhere in between, a red number on each component will indicate transparency value, 0% = transparent, 100% = bullet proof. Structures will be ready to bolt together and will have instruction manuals on assembly. Structures will have three different primary themes with multiple sizes and variations. Virtual Reality Arena employees will use a special MRDSS wand to corners to define where walls are, this data will be stored on a memory card. We can also sell automatically positioning blocks and shapes to scatter on an open playing field without having to worry about manually defining where the structures are.

Maze Theme Urban ThemeCastle ThemeLike most laser tag arenas, and many 1st person shooter maps.

Often with elements of castle and urban theme.

2 Building complexes opposed from each other. Teams usually start out in different buildings. Sniping from windows is key.

A singular structure that both teams attempt to occupy for

elevation advantage.

We should also provide custom arena creation services.

If you’ve got capital then you’ve got a Sony virtual reality Arena

Let small business owners put up the capital to get their arena set up, but sign a contract to contribute half of net profits of Arenas to Sony. In exchange we will help advertise for them, provide free infinite upgrades and all new software packages, free arena liability insurance, a 25% discount for any Sony product purchased for an Arena, a life insurance policy for the owners, and a whole bunch of knickknacks for the Arena.

Arena configurations and electronics will be constructed at regional locations and distributed by truck to local Arena.

Regional locations can also be used as retail outlets for other Sony products, can be used for rock concerts, or clubs on Friday and Saturday night (put turn table and mixer on top of castle), or anything else imaginable.

Maintenance employees will remain under local payroll, and can be used for other onsite work. Maintenance employee will ensure approximately 50% of profits go to Sony, if not he will use a special tool to activate kill switch in each sensor corrupting the firmware and disabling system. A specially bused (a hidden port with specialized contact plug) reactivation code is entered into the microcontrollers will cause RPDSS to become operational again. Maintenance employees will have to be trained on site at regional locations.

Virtual Reality Development ProjectStage 0: Sign contract. (or sign away patent rights on circuit and any analogs)

Stage 1: Develop 3 Alpha prototype suits with guns, 4 sensors (each with necessary microcontroller firmware), Switchboard (to take data from 4 sensors into 1-3 game ports), and core MRDSS PSX software. This will enable suit dueling test and will ensure viability of circuits involved so that Sony may go about Integrating modular digital components into specialized ICs.

Stage 2: Develop 35 Beta prototypes with the newly developed ICs, in final strengthened and waterproof form factor. Beta prototypes will be damage and water tested. Beta prototyping will continue until suits can be washed in a washer and dryer, and can not be broken when slammed against hard surfaces in the heat of combat. Focus groups will assist in developing software and tweaking multiple game settings to enhance game play. Begin speculating land for regional locations.

Stage 3: Develop 300 gamma prototypes and rigorously test all replica gun prototypes. All designs will be perfected in this stage in preparation for sale on the world market. Larger focus groups will assist in perfecting the first version of software and peripheral accessories.

Stage 4: Begin Advertisement to small business owners and prepare regional locations for grand opening of Sony’s Regional Virtual Reality Arenas worldwide. Distribute products to regional locations and begin building Arena’s to be set up at local sites.

Stage 5: Continue to prefect hardware while adding onto software. Shift advertisement to users. Set up VR sports leagues. Begin research to design headsets which provide clear full field of vision to both eyes. Dedicate extra capital to other research and development projects.
