ABOUT THE VIR GROUP
VIR’s problem was that their payments partner could not process eChecks directly, forcing the
company to rely on a third party eCheck processor. Plus, their third party eCheck processor could not integrate into their reservation management soft-ware. As a result, the VIR staff had to manually enter each eCheck payment into the third party eCheck processor as well as their Escapia software. The
team would receive a check and enter it into the eCheck processor on the 30th, but would not receive the money until the 3rd or 4th of the month. The result was mismatched bank statements and reports plus lost time due to cumbersome and error-prone double entry.
