(VMI) is a full service job shop. Our focus over the last 34 years is providing quality machining services for the various industries and sectors we serve. We have extensive knowledge and experience fabricating simple to complex machined parts. We are an ISO 9001:2008 certified company and look to continuously improve and educate ourselves on the latest technologies and machining practices.  VMI offers finished product from our state of the art CNC lathe & mills, as well as multi spindles. We provide high end CNC milling & turning and have purchased several new machines to provide efficiency and reduced costs for our clients.  VMI's commitment to produce quality parts has been a company wide focus. VMI has implemented a continuous improvement program into all areas of the business. Thus allowing VMI to attain ISO 9001:2008. VMI's goal is to provide their customers with a seamless transition from the plant floor to their facility, while maintaining quality, cost effectiveness and efficiency. For example, VMI generally produces 4 million custom parts annually for American companies. VMI is capable of handling any job no matter how small or large it may be. VMI's staff is highly trained and motivated to provide quality product for any business needs. VMI has recently implemented "Lean Manufacturing in all of their machining processes.    DFM- Design for manufacturability is the general engineering art of designing products in such a way that they are easy to manufacture. VMI has taken this idea and has incorporated it in all of their manufacturing.   VMI is currently working towards an AS9100 certification, which they plan to achieve in 2013.

VMI currently operates 22 multi spindle automatic machines, ranging in capacity VMI currently operates 22 multi spindle automatic machines, ranging in capacity from 9/16 to 3-5/8 inch diameter. Future DevelopmentsFuture DevelopmentsThe company was established in Sonoma, CA. in 1977.  Since then, VMI has moved its production facility to Carson

City, NV. We have recently purchased several state of the art CNC machines and multi-spindles which will greatly improve overall

efficiencyand sophistication of machining processes. 

VMI has proven experience with multiple industries and sectors utilizing Kanban, Consignment, JIT and SOMI. At VMI embracing technology is a must, this is why we employ the use of sophisticated software that directs scheduling, in-

house operations and tracking so that our clients can be updated on a moments notice.
