The Adventures of Terence is a Viking movie that is aimed at people who are 15+. People who are into

historical epic, Viking movies filled with tons of action, betrayal, fight scenes and a deep and meaningful plot.

Setting/ThemesThe setting of our movie would be in northern medieval gradually moving south as Terence tries to liberate the land of England. The setting is filled with very dull colours to represent the oppression by the king. But towards the end of the movies the colours brighten up Terence begins to overthrow the king. Old medieval England with thatched houses, wooden wells etc. anything you would expect to see when thinking about medieval England.

The theme of the film is a very historical Viking film

The PlotTerence is a Viking, on a boat from Norway at the beginning. The fleet of Vikings arrive in the Uk and pillage several monasteries along the north eastern coast of England. Terence feels as though that the Vikings are being a little harsh in their endeavors of slaughtering monks, and leaves to make his own path in the world, after having a duel with the leader of his tribe’s leader.

He travels through the countryside, meeting several people along the way and forming a team of fighters and adventurers. They arrive in a ransacked town, occupied by Terence’s old Viking tribe. His new team of adventures battle the tribe and win, with Terence’s second in command killing the tribe leader. Upon his death, he reveals that they were trying to rise up against the evil king of England, and that Terence has ruined any chance of the land being free.

Terence’s second, Mihael in command then goes rouge, brutally killing the king’s men on his own. Together with the rest of his team, Terence heads to London and they storm the palace and then Terence kills the king in a duel.

Mihael then returns and fights Terence, wanting to take the throne for himself. Terence then manages to defeat him in combat and imprisons him in the dungeon.

Clive Standen

Clive Standen- (ulfric) ship captain, he dies early on in the film by being involved in a siege in a town in England after travelling from their hometown Sweden.

Christian Bale

The King of England- he runs the bad military throughout the film. At the end of the film he is challenged by Terence and his group of adventurers and soon turns mad and is willing to fight them all.

Daniel Day-Lewis

Mihael- the second villain of the film, he starts out as a good person then betrays Terence by thinking his idea to overthrow the king is better than his, he goes off on his own to follow his thoughts, he is soon stopped by Terence and locked up…

Chris Hemsworth

Terence- the main protagonist in the film. He adventures across the land and overthrows the king. He is happy, wants to do the right thing for the country. He doesn’t agree with the standard Viking rules.

Katheryn Winnick

Ymir- third best fighter in Terence’s group, one of the first people he meets on his first adventure and remains one of the main characters throughout the rest of the film.

When the film is first revealed, posters of a Viking ship and a Burning London will be revealed. Letting people know that the movie will be historical and also to spark intrigue at the sight of burning landmarks.

A dramatic trailer will then be released, showing little of the plot so that the story will remain secret.

Several more posters will then be revealed of all the main characters closer to release, keeping the hype for the movie alive.
