BSBCMM401A MAKE A PRESENTATION UPDATE LOG – JULY 2014 Following an internal review of the course materials potential issues were highlighted in relation to the Discussion Topics. As a result the Discussion Topics have been removed as an assessment approach and incorporated into the Learner Guides and PowerPoint Presentations to promote a better learning environment. To improve the final assessment the Project Book has been renamed as the Unit Assessment Tool, and a new document, the Assessment Record, has been developed to assist assessors in assessing, marking and evaluating learners’ final assessments. How to use this document is detailed in the table below. Final assessments, now located in the Unit Assessment Tool, have been updated and modified to better address the unit requirements, by allowing learners the opportunity to practically demonstrate skills and knowledge, where appropriate, and to support improved evidence gathering.
