As population increases the need also increased. As of transportation plays main role in daily life, it is very hard to find people who not use vehicle. So most of the roads are flooded with car, lorry, bus, bike... etc, which results in heavy traffic. This project is to overcome the drawbacks of manual traffic signalling system. Here we maintain some time period to change the traffic signal step by step, the time period can be display LCD displays, whenever the time period value decreases to zero than change the signal light. In this type technology are more helpful to control traffic in urban areas, and improve the transport management. We don’t want to continuously monitor traffic, this technology can control automatically. This project uses regulated 5V, 750mA power supply. 7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac output of secondary of 230/18V step down transformer.
