Responsibilities:-

1. Consulting: Prepared taxability matrices or spreadsheets for the clients who have their business across United States based on the client’s business requirement. For preparing the Matrices have conducted research and analysis and based on the conclusion have advised client. Have also made sure and verifed if the organization is complying with the policies and obligations prescribed by Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the state and local authorities

2. Compliance: Prepared and reviewed Sales tax and Use Tax returns for all the states. Have deep knowledge of working through software called Vertex. Have knowledge of working on PTMS software (used for preparation of property tax returns), and have prepared depreciation and assets classification schedules.

3. Registration: Helped client with their business registration requirement with the state. Guided them throughout the process and have helped them in creating a package of registration

4. Refund Review: Preparing the refund review schedule by reviewing the invoices and checking out if there is any scope for refund of taxes. Also, advised them if there is any tax liability on the clients to be upfront and voluntarily disclose it to the state.

5. Apart from all the above also prepared various legal documents for the contract like XYZ Letters, Tax Docket, and T-Letter. Also, Approaching the tax authorities and follow the procedures necessary for filing the tax returns
