Hal Holbrook in MARK TWAIN TONIGHT!Hal Holbrook has toured Mark Twain Tonight! in some part of every
year since 1954 and gave his 2,200th performance in March 2010,
making 2012 the 58th consecutive year for this remarkable one-
man show — perhaps the longest-running show in theater history.
Holbrook has no set program — he adds to his Twain material
every year, editing and changing it to fi t the times.

Academy of St. Martin in the Fields with Joshua Bell, music director and violinGrammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell was
named as music director of the Academy of St. Martin
in the Fields this year, a title not bestowed since 1958
when the organization was founded by Sir Neville
Marriner. Having recorded 36 CDs, Bell is the recipient
of the Avery Fisher prize and was named the 2010
Instrumentalist of the Year by Musical America. He is
also the recipient of the 2008 Academy of Achievement
Award for exceptional accomplishment in the arts and
in 2009 was honored by Education Through Music for
his dedication to sharing his love of classical music with
at-risk youth.

Circle Award for her portrayal of Annie Oakley in one of Broadway’s most popular musicals,
the smash Tony Award-winning hit Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun. Peters also
received Tony nominations for her work in the musical The Goodbye Girl; Stephen Sondheim’s
Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Sunday in the Park With George; the Jerry Herman/Gower
Champion ode to the movies, Mack and Mabel; and the Leonard Bernstein/Comden and Green
musical On The Town. In addition to these honors, Peters earned a Drama Desk nomination
for her memorable portrayal of The Witch in Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods.

SParking for the Valley Performing Arts Center and Plaza del Sol Performance Hall is located in the G3 parking structure. The G3 structure is accessed by entering Prairie Street from Zelzah Avenue.
All vehicles, including those with handicap placards, must display a valid permit to park on campus. Parking permits are $6 per vehicle. Patrons may now also purchase parking passes online. The online prepaid parking pass allows you to park in any lot on campus for the entire day of the performance you
are attending and expire at midnight on the evening of your event. Online prepaid parking passes may be purchased for a nonrefundable fee of $6 and cannot be reissued if lost or damaged. Simply print out your own parking pass and display the pass on your dashboard the evening of the performance. Visit ValleyPerformingArtsCenter.org for details. Permits are required 24/7 and can be purchased from permit dispensers within the parking lots and parking structures or from on-site parking attendants upon entering the parking facility.

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE SHUTTLE SERVICE
Campus parking lot B1 is conveniently located and just a short walk to the Valley Performing Arts Center. For those patrons in need of special assistance, the Valley Performing Arts Center is pleased to off er shuttle service from the B1 parking lot to the D1 drop-off zone in front of the Valley Performing Arts Center.
The shuttle will run from the B1 parking lot to the D1 drop-off zone every 15 minutes for one-hour-15-minutes before and one-hour after each performance. Please allow suffi cient time before and after each performance as delays may occur. ADA paths are also available from lots B1 and B2 to the Valley Performing Arts Center. There will be signs to the Valley Performing Arts Center and benches for your convenience along the way. Ushers are stationed at both B1 and D1 lots to assist patrons in and out of the shuttle. No advance reservations are required.

SEATING The Valley Performing Arts Center will make every
eff ort to ensure seating preferences are fulfi lled but

HANDLING AND FACILITY FEEAll Valley Performing Arts Center tickets will incur
a facility fee of $2 per ticket. The facility fee is
used for capital replacement and restoration of the
venues managed by the Valley Performing Arts
Center.
There is an $8 handling fee per order when
ordering by phone, fax, or mail. Handling and
processing fees vary online.
There are no handling fees on orders made in
person at the VPAC ticket offi ce.

a-half hours prior to show time at the Ticket Box
