Local Emergency Room Savings through the use of Valley. Regular users of Health Centers are far less likely to go to an

ER for an avoidable event. Valley saved the Columbus Area’s Emergency Rooms 895 visits and $1,179,349 savings in 2012.

Area Hospital Savings Due to Valley Healthcare Systems. Regular users of Health Centers have lower rates of Emergency

Room usage and lower odds of potentially avoidable hospitalizations. Valley provides services that are lower than the average hospital visit of $17,089 and saving the community 224 visits and $3,822,816 savings in 2012.
