Where: GothenburgWhat: Sub-project Eriksberg–Pölsebo involves the development of a new double track along a new route north of the existing track. The new route passes through partially dense urban surroundings and is approximately 1,900 metres long, of which approximately 1,100 will be in a double track tunnel, partly concrete and partly rock. Why: In order to guarantee future goods transports and contribute to a transfer of goods traffic from road to railway, as well as to communitydevelopment. Current status: The railway plan has been sent for assessment.

Where: GothenburgWhat: Lundbyleden to be rebuilt between Brantingmotet and Ringömotetat the same time as the Bohus Line is upgraded to double tracks at Brunnsbo.Why: To enhance the connection to the local road network, increase road safety and enable the development of the areas around Backaplan and Brunnsbo. The Bohus Line upgrade to double tracks is intended to reduce the rail network’s sensitivity to disruptions and enable construction of a commuter station in the future. Current status: Pre-qualification advertised in March 2018Construction starts: 2019/2020Cost: > SEK 1 billion

Where: Hallsberg-DegerönWhat: We are gradually building double tracks and grade-separated crossings on the Hallsberg-Degerön section and through Hallsberg´sfreight depot. The Hallsberg-Degerön section is 46 km long. Why: We want to increase the capacity for freight trains and passenger services, as well as improve safety and punctuality.Current status: Preparation of tender documents fort two design and build contracts.
