UTSAV’19 The ICFAI University, Dehradun

24th & 25th January 2019

UTSAV- Cultural fest was organized on 24th & 25th January 2019 at The ICFAI

University, Dehradun. This year it has showcased the best of the young talent in a fun

and frolic way. This platform has given the participants an opportunity to unleash their

hidden talents in the variety of genres ranging from creative skills, singing, dancing,

acting, poetry, acting, band music, and fashion show. In this fest, total 18 events were

organized in 2 days (Annexure – 1; List of events).

The special flavor and attraction of this colorful fest was the “Celebrities

performance”. The ICFAI University, Dehradun had 3 celebrities performed live on

25th of January 2019 i.e. IKKA Singh (Singer & Rapper), Rs Chauhan (Singer &

Rapper) & DRIP-(EDM Artist). This fest had the most interactive, motivated and

enthusiastic participants & audience.

The main aim of this fest was to enhance the brand image and visibility of The ICFAI

University, Dehradun. As per the social media coverage on the Facebook post, UTSAV

had reach approximately 12000 people in Dehradun (Annexure – 2; Facebook

Reach). This Facebook post was sponsored by BlackBulls Entertainment for promoting

the UTSAV – Cultural fest. The UTSAV posters have also been shared by IKKA Singh

(Singer & Rapper), Rs Chauhan (Singer & Rapper), DRIP- (EDM Artist) & BlackBulls on

their social media (Annexure- 3; Social media pages). The Fest was also promoted on

various event management websites

“Societal – Youth marketing partner” on various social media channels.

This fest has had 250 online registration & 100 offline registration for various events.

the cash prize as per the Annexure- 4, along with the vouchers given by sponsors of O’

Press juice & joy, TravAmigo, Kapoor Footwears and Roasted.

Judges from outside with the expertise and requisite in their respective fields were

UTSAV’19 was sponsored by various companies in many ways (Annexure- 5; List of

sponsors). EDM- Night (Artist- DRIP a.k.a Prateek Vats) was sponsored by Blue

Turtle. The Nest- Girls hostel was powering the fest and was tagged with “UTSAV’19-

powered by The Nest- Girls hostel. Uniform solution & company was associated as “Co-

Sponsor”, Carewell fitness was promoting health and fitness as “Fitness partner”.

Velocity Tour & Travel and Travamigo promoted tourism and offered vouchers to the

winners. There were 2 online merchandise (Roasted & Kapoor footwear) partners who

offered discount coupons on online purchase. Creative Wings has given Mementos for

sponsors & Judges and O’ Press Juice & Joy gave gift Hampers for the celebrities. Aaj Jay

Pvt. Ltd. acted as a “Designing Partner” supported in designing the print & online

material for promoting the fest. UTSAV photography partner was Doon Digital photo

studio who has offered his support by covering the celebrity performance during the

fest. Doon Delight offered delicious food during the fest and was associated as “Food

Partner”. SUD was allied as “Learning Partner” and promoted the importance of

continuous learning. This fest also encouraged social message by being associated with

3 NGO’s i.e. Kal ki soch , SEWA, Pehchaan-The Street School. “Kal ki soch” stands

against every social evil existing in society through the education program, “SEWA”

promotes “Beti Bachao- Beti Badao” and “Pehchaan-The Street School” provide free

education to poor people.

The fest has been covered by various print & online media Such as Amar Ujala,

Hindustan, Dainik Jagran (Annexure-6; Media coverage). Celebrities have shared their

live videos on their social media channel which has received thousands of views, like &

comments. This has resulted in more visibility of “The ICFAI University, Dehardun”

around the world (Annexure- 7; Celebrity live performance & Remarks). In the

comment section of their social media, they have appreciated University top

management, faculty, staff & students.
