Using Pronouns Correctly

I can use a subject or object pronoun correctly in a sentence.

What do pronouns do?

Pronouns replace common or proper nouns in sentences.

Why?

They help to avoid repetition of the same words over and over.

Joey darted to the car, and Joey retrieved the science textbook Joey left there after school. Joey was thankful the textbook was still there.

Joey is used FOUR times in two sentences!

Textbook is used twice.

How can this be improved with pronouns?
