1. Log in to ratefinding.com

 

Please log in with your user name and password for ratefinding.com.

If you do not know your password, please use the function `Lost password?´.

2. Search and enter log in dataIn order to search for an existing user or to create a new user, click on the section `User´.

Afterwards, please click on ̀ User Administration´.

a) Search for an existing userYou can search for an existing user by entering criteria like Name, E-mail address and User Group.To search with word components, please use the * symbol as a place holder. 

Start your search by clicking on `Search´.

b) Create a new userBy clicking on `Add user´ the first form opens up.

Now enter the data of your new user. Please notice that the fields `E-mail´, `First name´ and `Last name´are mandatory fields and have to be filled in. The other fields are optional.

In the folder `Profile´ you can change the language if necessary. To add or remove a language from the `Selected languages´ (box on the right) please use _respectively ̀

After entering the data, click on `Save´.

After saving, additional fields will appear below.Only the top section with the folders `Display´, `Password´, ̀Regular Roles´, `User Group´ and `Profile´ need tobe adapted. All other sections are optional.

You are now on the folder `Display´.Here you can enter the language, the time zone and the greeting. To confirm your entry please click `Save´ above.

You move on with the folder `Password´.

Please enter the desired Password for the new user.To save the password please click ̀ Save´ above.

You move on with the folder `Regular Roles´.In this section you can assign the authorisation. The new user at first sustains the authorisation of your ownuser with the exception that the user is not authorised for adding users.

OPTIONAL: Authorisation to add usersIf the new user should be able to create new users, pick `User Administrator´ in the field `Available´

and click _. ̀ User Administrator´ nowappears in the right `Selected´ box. 

To confirm the settings please click `Save´.

 Now go on with the folder `User Groups´.Assign the desired user Group in the dropdown menu in the first column:· Representative Parent Organisation = Permission for an employee of an hotel chain· Supplier = Permission for an hotelier· Supplier Assistent = Permission for the assistant of an hotelier· Supplier Read Only = The user has no permission to change the content

Afterwards click on to edit your new user group.

In the following folders `Business area and unit´ and `Product type´ your permissions were adopted for thenew user.

OPTIONAL:If the new User shall only see specific Business units you need to adapt the settings individually.Pick `Corporate´ and move it from the right to the left box by clicking on `

Pick the desired Business units and move them from the left to the right box by clicking on _To confirm your entry please click `Save´.

You move on with the folder `Hotels´.At first the hotels/hotel chains from your user were adopted for the new user.If this is not correct click on the folder `Assigned hotels and hotel chains´.

Mark the results found in the front and click on `Remove´.

Now go on with the folder `Hotels´.You can either assign hotel chains or single hotels.

Choose the desired `Company type´ in the drop-down list box.You can search for the desired hotels/hotel chain by entering criteria like `Name´, `City´ and `Country´.To search with word components, please use the * symbol as a place holder.Start your search by clicking on `Search´.

Mark the result in the front and click on `Add´ to assign the selected hotel or hotel chain.This search can be repeated as often as necessary.

Go back to the folder `Assigned hotels and hotel chains´to check whether all hotels or hotel chains are assigned.

If you click on `Back´ you can see the User you just created. Now it is active.

3. Check user assignement

You have the possibility to check which users are assigned to a certain hotel.Please switch to the section `Master Data´ and click on `Service Provider´.

You can search for the desired hotel by entering criteria like `Name´, `City´ and `Country´.To search with word components, please use the * symbol as a place holder.Start your search by clicking on `Search´.

Click on to edit the hotels’s data.

Please go on with the folder `User assignment´.The system now shows all users assigned to this hotel.
