• Followsafetyinstructionsofchemicalmanufacturer(SDS).

• Neverpointthedischargewandatanyone.• Incomingairpressurecannotexceed100psi(7bar).• Aftereachuse,relieveallremainingpressureinthe

systembyunpluggingtheairlinefromtheunitandopeningthedischargeballvalvetopreventaccidentaldischarge.

• Afterrelievingthepressurefromtheunit,storetheunitwiththeballvalveintheclosedposition.

• Besuretoflushtheunitwithfreshwaterfor5minuteswhenswitchingfromanalkalinetoanacidoranacidtoanalkaline.

• Donotexceedafluidtemperatureof100˚F(37˚C).• Onlyusecleananddryair.Airmustbefilteredandfree

ofmoistureorpumplifewillbediminished.Ifneeded,installanairdryerbeforeunit.

• Donotuseairlubricatorbeforetheunit.

Operation Instructions:1. Followallinstructionsfromchemicalmanufacturer.

Fillthetankwithwaterandtheadvisedpercentageofchemicalconcentrate.

2. Withballvalve(HV60)intheclosedposition,pluganairlineintotheairfitting(AP25).

3. Slowlyopentheballvalve(HV60)completely.4. Adjusttheneedlevalve(NV14Y)todesiredwetnessor

drynessoffoamfollowingthestepsbelow:a. Closeneedlevalvecompletelyinclockwisedirection.b. Openneedlevalveincounter-clockwisedirection3

completeturns.c. Continuetoopenvalvein¼turnincrementsallowing

30secondsbetweenadjustmentsuntilproperconsistencyoffoamisachieved.

After Use Instructions: 1. Flushtheunitwithfreshwaterfor5minutes.2. Disconnecttheairlinefromtheairfitting(AP25)and

relieveanyremainingpressureinthesystembyopeningthedischargeballvalve(HV60).

3. Closetheballvalve(HV60)afterallpressurehasbeenrelievedfromthesystem.

Maintenance Instructions: Tokeepyourportabletankfoameroperatingproperly,periodicallyperformthefollowingmaintenanceprocedures:• Checktheairpump(P56/P56K/P56V)forwearandleaks.• Inspecthosesforleaksorexcessivewear.Makesureall

hoseclampsareingoodconditionandproperlysecured.• Replacefilter(AFR25)inregulator(R25)asneeded.• Checkthesuctiontubeandscreenfordebrisandcleanas

needed.• Draincompressortankonaregularbasistoensureproper

operationofpump.

Troubleshooting Instructions:• Checktoensurethedischargehoseisuncoiledproperly,

andthattherearenokinksthatcouldobstructfluidflow.• Checkairregulatorbowl(ABR25)fordebrissuchas

water,oil,orrustparticles.Cleanbyunthreadingtheairregulatorbowlfromtheairregulator(R25).

• Ifneedlevalve(NV14Y)valveisopentoofar,thepump(P56/P56K/P56V)willcycleimproperlyduetolackofairpressure.Ifthisoccurs,resetneedlevalveasdescribedinOperationInstruction#4.

• Makesureproperfoamingchemicalandconcentrationisbeingused.

• Ifairpassesthroughthepump(P56/P56K/P56V)withoutcycling,thepumpneedstobereplaced.

• Iffoamsolutionbacksupintoairregulatorbowl(ABR25),thecheckvalve(CV38)needstobereplaced.

• Iffoamcomesoutwet,nomatterwheretheneedlevalve(NV14Y)ispositioned,thecheckvalve(CV38)mayneedtobereplaced.

• Checkforproperairpressureonairgauge(AG100).Airregulator(R25)isfactorysetat50psi(3.4bar).Operatingrangeis40to80psi(3to5bar)with3.5to8cfm(99.1-227l/min)

• Iftheunitfoamsatareducedpressure: o Checktheaircompressorsupplyingtheunit.Ifthe

pressureislessthan40psi,turnthefoamunitoffuntilthecompressorcancatchup.

o Iftheairsupplyis50psi(3.4bar)orabove,checktheAG100,whichshouldreadnear50psi(3.4bar).IftheAG100ismoreorlessthan50psi(3.4bar),adjustthepressurebyturningtheknobonthetopoftheairregulator(R25).

o Ifbothoftheaboveareokay,thestainlesssteelmixingmesh(SS-MESH)couldbeplugged.Removeandcleanitbyfollowingtheinstructionsbelow:1. Besurethefoamunitisnotpluggedintoan

airsupplyandbesuretorelieveallstoredpressureintheunitbyhavingtheballvalve(HV60)intheopenposition.

2. Removethestainlessadaptor(HBSS1212)fromtheteefitting(SST12HB38).

3. Removethescreenandthemixingmeshfrominsidetheteefitting(SST12HB38).

4. Cleananyparticlesfromthemixingmeshandthescreen.

5. Replacethemixingmeshandthenthescreenintothebackoftheteeandscrewthestainlessadaptorbackintothetee.Itisrecommendedtouseapipethreadsealantwhenreinstallingthestainlessadaptorbackintotheteefitting(SST12HB38).Ifthemixingmeshhasalotofforeignparticlesinit,makesurethestrainer(STR38-IL)isstillinplace.

• Checkforpluggedstrainer(STR38-IL).Replacestrainerifnecessary.Strainermustbeused.
