• A corporate lawyer is a lawyer who specializes in corporate law
• Corporate lawyers make sure that business contracts and transactions are legal

Education And Training Required • A law degree
– To obtain a law degree prospective lawyers must first graduate from high school and college
– After college, they need to get a Juris Doctorate) from a law school, which is usually 3 years
• Pass the Bar Exam– They must pass an exam by the American Bar
Association. Each state has a different exam
