5 Cash We recommend that you bring S$20 for two lunches. (Packed snacks, sandwiches and fruits, will be given out on Day 1 and Day 2. There is a long lunch break of 1.5 hours; hence there will not be any tea breaks.)

CODE OF CONDUCT 1. Be on your best behaviour to uphold the good name of the school. 2. Exhibit social graces at all times, such as being polite to NTU staff, NTU Student

Leaders, SST teachers and Support Staff. 3. Exercise self-discipline. Be responsible, considerate and co-operative. When in

doubt, always ask. 4. School rules and regulations are to be adhered to at all times. Students who disobey

these rules and regulations will be dealt with in accordance to SST Code of Discipline.

5. For smooth running of the programme, you are to be punctual for every activity and

take note of the schedule. 6. Stay in your assigned group throughout the programme.

• Do not wander off on your own without permission. • If you need to use the toilets, always go in twos and inform the teachers.

7. You are responsible for all your belongings, especially valuables like your learning

device and wallet. Do not bring jewellery and other expensive items e.g. electronic game sets.

Applied Project Challenge 1. This is learning camp. You are expected to complete the tasks given during the camp

within the stipulated time frame.

2. Work collegially with your group members. 3. Dress appropriately for your project work. 4. You may bring your mobile phone. However, it should be switched off or put to silent

mode at all times. Use it during breaks or when there is an emergency. 5. When working on your project, do not digress to other websites except Project

Google site. 6. Observe all safety rules and regulations whenever you are in the laboratory and its

facilities. Other precautions 1. Report all accidents, injuries and illnesses to your teacher advisor immediately.

2. Inform your teacher advisor if you are feeling unwell. Do not take any medication

without informing your teacher advisor. Inform teacher advisor if you are on medication.

Overview - Referring to the Project Manual, briefly mention the main theory or concept of the project - Elaborate if you found more information regarding the main theory or concept - Include any relevant pictures, video clips or links

Objectives - Referring to the Project Manual, describe what the group needs to accomplish by the end of the project

Achievements - Post photographs and videos you recorded during the project - If it is a REPORT, copy and paste the findings. It may include o Tables of data, observations o Photographs/videoclips that support/illustrate your findings/end-product o Alternatively, if the report comes in the form of a document, you may convert the report into images and post them. - If it is a PRODUCT (e.g. a model/drawing), take photos/videoclips to showcase your end-product o Captions/Brief descriptions should be added to explain what is shown - If it is a SOFTWARE-related product (e.g. an animation, game), use Quicktime Player to record the key features of the product so that the reader has an idea how the product works o Captions/Brief descriptions should be added to explain what is shown - On Day 3, the group will be presenting the project findings/products o Embed slides/clips created and used for the presentation here - Finally, as a group, o Discuss possible limitations/restrictions to your project, experiment or product o Suggest possible improvements that could be made

Group presentation

- Each sub-group will prepare a maximum 7-minute presentation of your work/ findings on the Applied Project Challenge. - The NTU Mentors and/or the Teacher Advisors will brief you on the details and expectations of the presentation at the beginning of the workshop. - Best Project Groups will present at the Project Sharing Session on Day 3.
