This week we designed our own Christmas tree after reading A Wish to be a Christmas tree. We also read a nonfiction book about Christmas trees and learned that they come from a tree farm! We shared our time lines, enjoying pictures of us growing up and seeing how the telephone, Barbie and NASA have changed over time! Next week we will read nonfiction stories about reindeer as well as fun fiction stories such as, Olive the Other Reindeer . We will end 2014 by visiting different countries with our passport and learning how they celebrate the holiday season. Wishing all of you a Merry Holiday filled with Peace, Love, Hope and Joy!
