UPCOMING EVENTS AT THE CREEK Church News Evening of Story sharing—Tonight at 5:00 PM Gather tonight in the fellowship hall for a great meal. After our meal we will share our story and experience of faith, family, and history at Ston- ey Creek Church. Sign up at any information table today! You can also sign up to be a part of the prayer groups that will begin February 5! Today is the deadline to sign-up for the vision cam- paign! Islam and Muslims—explore with Reagan Hinton the fascinating and misunderstood religion of Islam as she leads The Core Beliefs of Islam and How to Minister to Muslims. The class con- cludes this Wednesday at 7 PM in Rm 206. Adults Over 60 Ministry Temple Theater—Jason Petty Concert: Sign-up in the Senior IC for the Jason Petty concert on Thursday, February 13 th in Sanford. Group tickets are $24 each. Depart SCC at 11:20 AM. We last saw him in 2010 in the show “El Paso” where he recounted the life of Marty Robbins. It was an awesome show. Please sign up as soon as possible so we can finalize ticket purchase. Primetimer’s at the Pointe: February 23 rd at 6PM. Enjoy dinner and a comedian from Atlanta as the Emerge students minister to us and get to know us better. Sign-up at Senior Info Table. Tuesday Bible Study: Join us Tuesdays at 10 AM in the FH for our new series entitled “From Emptiness to Fullness—How God Restores a Broken Heart.” Based on the life of Naomi. Senior Adult Appreciation Banquet & Starlight Dance Band—Friday, March 27 th . Mark your calendar! This banquet is our way to say “thank you” to our adults 60 and over for your service to the Lord through the ministries of Stoney Creek Church. Enjoy a wonderful meal and enter- tainment. A sign up sheet will be available in mid-February. DC via Amtrak: Enjoy the Smithsonian Museums, area monuments and memorials, Museum of the Bible and an optional Washington Nationals baseball game. See Pastor Barry. All ages wel- come. CreeKidz Events Sunday, January 26th @ 5 PM—Creekidz will enjoy pizza, popcorn and drinks in the Stadium as they watch the movie, Abominable. Sign up online or in the IC to help us with planning. Parents can enjoy A Night of Storytelling and a meal in the FH. Annual Spring Fling will be March 7, 2020— It’s coming!!! Bring all your stuff to us for the yard sale and place in the storage unit by the FH. Place items as far back and high as possible. Thank you. Emerge Ministry TonightEmerge LIVE night out— Small groups will depart from the Pointe by 4:45 PM. All Emerge students and 18-25 are welcome. Supper will be with your small group and then skat- ing. All you need to bring is money for supper. Skating is free! We will return by 8 PM February 2—Super Sunday! All are invited to a Super Bowl party at the Pointe. Service starts at 5 PM and then the game at 6 PM. Bring a finger food and stay as long as you like! February 730 Hour Famine!
