Rehabilitation of Wharf 3, Construction of Electrical Infrastructure and Lash DockDemolition at Barbours Cut Terminal

The project is divided into three parts: Part 1: The wharf 3 will be upgraded in order to support 100 feet gauge dock cranes. This work includes the upgrade of 1000 feet of wharf, a new stevedore support building, structural elements, high mast pole lighting, and electrical infrastructure. Part 2: It includes the construction of 3,600 feet of concrete duct bank for power and communications; and, Part 3: It consists of the partial demolition of the Lash Dock.

Bayport - Remodel Gate Services Building for USDA

Remodel approximately 1345 SF of the existing Gate Services Building (GSB) at Bayport Container Terminal to be utilized by the USDA as an inspection laboratory. The project includes enclosing the roof overhang around the building to create a larger than existing tenant space. It also includes the installation of laboratory equipment, office space, a communications equipment room,additional HVAC and associated items.

Relocation of Communications Infrastructure Along Peninsula Boulevard

Harris County is developing a project to expand, repave and provide drainage improvements along Peninsula boulevard between the JacintoPort and Care Terminals. As a result it is necessary to relocate existing storm sewers, outfalls and inlets; some of their relocated utilities are in conflict with existing PHA's manholes, duct banks and conduits carrying fiber optics cables for communications among terminals. This project identifies such conflicts and relocates PHA's infrastructure in conflict with the Harris county project.
