INTRODUCTIONHello!

HOW WILL I MEET THE BRIEF?

• My magazine will be financed through advertising income. • There will be space for a magazine like mine on the market, which I have

discovered through genre research, it will be different and like no other magazine out there at the moment.

• I will be doing audience research so that I know my magazine will cater for my primary audience.

• I have considered that my magazine will be given out with the northern echo, this means that I will be keeping to certain limitations and making sure it is suitable for everyone to read including my primary and secondary audience.

WHAT DO YOUR TATTOOS SAY ABOUT YOU?

This article will talk about stereotypes. Relatable to the readers? YesIt will be a interview style article with focusing on one female who expresses herself through tattoos, she will tell us about her experiences.

The article will talk about self expression, self expression can be done in many different ways: art, music, photography, fashion – this relates to the genre of the magazine. Article would suit the target audience.

The article will try to bring across the message that we shouldn’t judge anyone by how they look, the readers may appreciate this because they themselves don’t conform to the typical mainstream image. They are different and alternative.

Can you define beauty?

This article will approach the topic of how mainstream magazines are bring across the wrong image to people. Using models who are the ‘perfect image’ which makes people who don’t look like this feel like they may need to look like this, it’s all we see.

There should be more alternative lifestyle magazines using real people. – relatable to audience. They will appreciate topic. They are already different, they don’t look like what the people do in vogue magazine.

The article will focus on everyday people who are happy with themselves for who they are, using local people of the same age group. – relatable.

The article will bring across a message that you are who you are and you shouldn’t compare yourself to anyone else. – hopefully making the reader feel more positive and think in a different way.
