UNT College of Music Cost of Attendance Facts 2016++
At UNT, any competitive scholarship of $1,000 or more per academic year
guarantees in-state tuition rates.
In the 2015-16 academic year: The College of Music awarded $945,512 in scholarships+++
One third of students (541 out of 1510) received merit scholarships of $1,000 or more from the College of Music +++
More than one fourth of graduate students (177 out of 571) received teaching assistantships or fellowships. In 2015-2016, all new full-time teaching assistantships and fellowships covered 3 hours of tuition and fees for master's students, and 6 hours of tuition and fees for doctoral students. These
full-time assistantships and fellowships also included an employment waiver, allowing for non-Texas resident to pay in-state tuition. +++
In-state tuition and fees at UNT averaged $10,480/year (15 hours per semester) for undergraduates and $7,400/year (9 hours per semester) for graduates
