February 13, 2010, 1 - 4 p.m. FREE ADMISSION U N I V E R S I T Y O F F L O R I D A h M U S E U M O F A R T U N I V E R S I T Y O F F L O R I D A h H A R N M U S E U M O F A R T Family Day Harn Museum of Art Zhang Zeduan Ink on paper, bamboo Gift of Ruth Sheng 1 – 4 p.m. Ruth Sheng will demonstrate Chinese calligraphy. 1:15 p.m. Dr.Vinata Vedam, Bharata Natyam dancer, and her students Varija, Brindha, Sanika and Smruthi will demonstrate a short dance and teach steps to children in the audience. 2 p.m. Yoshie Terada will host a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. 3:30 p.m. Komala Kumari Mayshark, Prtha Goldman, Sita Wolf, Jahnavi Harris and Kalindi Andujar, dancers from the Bhakti Kalalayam Dance Academy in Alachua, will perform a Bharata Natyam dance called thillana. 3:45 – 4 p.m. Medha Ranka, junior at the International Baccalaureate Program at Eastside High School, will perform a classical Indian dance.
