At the end of the 1960‘s, refuse collection withtraditional bins had reached its limit. As the leadingmanufacturer of waste management systems, SULOintroduced the wheeled bin system at the beginning ofthe 1970‘s and thus revolutionised refuse collection.Today, the unique wheeled bin system is the establishedstandard worldwide.

SULO offers a complete range of 2-wheeled containersystems, with volumes ranging from 35 (VARIO) to 360litre. With decades of experience in productdevelopment and product advancement, we areconstantly developing innovations for refuse collection.We apply the latest technologies, including computersimulation. Our main focus is on safety, quality and theergonomic handling of containers.

The increasing separate collection of different kinds ofrefuse and recyclable materials demands more flexiblecontainer systems. SULO developed the patented VARIOsystem with this in mind. It enables quick and easyadjustment of the container volume by the use of theVARIO insert. Two basic container sizes, 120 and 140 litre,and five inserts of 35, 40, 50, 60 and 80 litre are available.With the VARIO system efficient refuse collection is easilyaccomplished.

EURO 2 LID

STANDARD LID

In addition to the well-known standard lid, SULO alsooffers its EURO 2 lid.

As well as having an innovative and attractive shape, theEURO 2 lid offers some distinct advantages.The grip rail makes the lid easy to open from all positions.

EURO 2 LID

It has a large, flat surface for customised markings.The optional identification clip offers cost-efficient containerpool management. A change of fraction or use of acontainer can be achieved simply with a coloured clip,rather than exchanging the lid or even the container.

MATERIAL + CONSTRUCTION

The plastic used is a specially developed HDPE (HighDensity Polyethylene).

SULO containers are resistant to decay, frost, heat andchemicals.

All metal components (axles and accessories) arecorrosion resistant.

The wheels are especially silent due to solid rubber tyresand reduced axle play.

All materials are recyclable.

All SULO containers are compatible with weighing andidentification systems.

SULO containers are available in standard colours ofgrey, green, brown, blue and yellow. Special colours areavailable on request.

SULO Umwelttechnik is certified in accordance withDIN EN ISO 9001:2000. This guarantees our customersa recognised and certified quality management system.

All SULO containers are of course manufactured inaccordance with DIN EN 840 standards. They also meet higher standards such as the Norm Francaise (NF) and have been awarded the quality mark RAL GZ 951/1, the highest quality standard for refuse ontainers. The tests are carried out by independent institutes and exceed the demands of EN 840. This guarantees the bestquality, long service life and safety of the containers.

QUALITY

The specially developed rim with its double angle railguarantees the highest safety during emptying and isfitted as standard with a chip nest in accordance withRAL 951/1.

The continuous handle and the comfortable grip heightensure easy handling.

The open wheel case prevents the accumulation of dirt,and the wide chassis and external position of the wheels,as well as the galvanised, solid axle, ensure therenowned stability of the containers.

SAFETY + HANDLING

Smooth surfaces and rounded internal cornersfacilitate cleaning.

Special ribs ensure safe and efficient stacking,reducing the cost of transport and storage.

The perfectly designed water flow from the lid preventswater from entering the bin when opening the lid. Adrip rim underneath the lid ensures that condensationdoes not accumulate on the rim of the bin, thuspreventing the lid from freezing in cold weather.
